Forensic expert and Blackwatch Owner, LeAnna Ferguson, completes the Cellebrite Advanced Smartphone Analysis training. Only 250 or fewer cell forensic experts, including law enforcement at the state and federal level, receive this advanced training each year.

Blackwatch’s Licensed Investigators Maintain Continued Legal Education Credits

When hiring an expert to investigate your crime scene, fingerprint, ballistics or cell phone tower, the attorney asks for the CV and/or affidavit to include in their motion for funding.  But, how often do you read the credentials?

Because of the ever evolving nature of technology, it’s important that your expert’s skills and training are current and compatible. Ten-year-old cell phone forensics training will not yield very useful results today.

Blackwatch’s licensed investigators maintain certification in the latest forensic technology and continued legal education (CLE) credits, ensuring our teams remain current on the changing laws, case precedents, investigative questioning tools, discovery rules and cell tower and phone technology — making us leaders in the industry.

Utilizing the educational opportunities offered through the Tennessee Association of Defense Attorneys (TACDL), and best-in-industry technological training, Blackwatch ensures our investigators are always prepared and ready to testify as expert witnesses.
